For a few years now I have been helping new entrepreneurs get started in business. Online marketing imageWhether you are an established business or one that is just starting out, you will, at some point need to do some marketing. A lot of marketing these days is done online as this is where most of the population spends it time.

Knowing how to write good advertising copy will help you attract more of the customers that you are looking for, for less money. Knowing what keywords to use, what makes a good headline and how to take your customers down the slippery slope to a sale is the key to getting more sales and therefore more profit.

Knowing how to profile your ideal customer will mean that you can target your adverts to more specific audiences which will mean that you spend less on advertising and make more in sales.

Help With Attracting New Customers

Customers imageAll businesses have the same basic need – to be able to attract new customers. Unfortunately, this is one of the most difficult things for new businesses to do. There are problems like lack of advertising budget, knowing who exactly your customer is and where to find them, knowing how to go about advertising on Google or social media sites and not having the technical know how to figure it all out yourself.

I have spent the last 2 years marketing goods and services online. I have learned the basics of Bing and Google, Linkedin and Pinterest and I have mastered Facebook. I am now learning how to sell products on Amazon as a Professional Seller and getting my own brand out there. I will let you know how that goes…

The first thing you need to do when trying to attract new customers is to learn who they actually are. This might sound stupid but hear me out. You need to know how old they are, where they live, how much they typically spend, how much they typically earn and what other related goods and services are they already buying.

You might be thinking that finding all this information out will take days or weeks of research. Not true. I can work with you to find all this information out in just a few hours. It is just a question of knowing where to look.

By knowing your customer well, you will have a better idea of how to target them in your website content and advertising copy. If you try and please everyone then you will end up pleasing no-one and this is why most businesses struggle to get new customers.
